Oh my............I have 400 right now and another 175 due in this fall, I raise them up to sell as egg layers but I think I might have the OCD as well as I keep increasing numbers every year!!! Is there an AA group for this sickness? I might need intervention help

My name is Wendy & I, & I..............................have an addiction to chickens! Yes, but do you really want to change? I don't want a 12 step program because I'm enjoying my addiction, lol!

No, but this is about as costly as cigarettes! Oh well, at least it isn't bad for my health!

Yeah, but Wendy, your addiction pays for itself when you sell eggs and chickens - can't say that about cigarettes, lol!

I think I do, too. Now, with FB I have even pulled the Hubs in. He is already planning my new henhouse.

My name is Beth, and I have a chicken addiction..... Anyway, my 10 chicks are doing well, eating so much starter feed, and starting to get tail feathers. How long until I can move them outside into the coops? They are almost 4 weeks old. We are in Ohio and I have been taking them outside to "play" when we work in the garden. I made a temporary pen with chicken wire and they always have the feeder/waterer when outside. I have a fenced area, the fence is 2"x3". The area is 30 x 50 feet. They will have the coops, they just seem so small to put into a big space :-)
