Between now until the peak of the meteor shower on the evenings of Aug. 10, 11 and 12.
An expansive look at the sky will provide the most enjoyment.
Don’t look at the moon too much because that degrades your night vision.

We always enjoyed watching these with the kids when they were young. Still try to catch them but it is usually cloudy.

When I was a kid we had several sleep outs (just lying on an old tarp and an old blanket) in backyards during the summer. Do kids still do this?
