Anyone make mustard? Recipe? How do you preserve?

Probably not what you are asking but for Christmas I made Cranberry Mustard and Honey Mustard.. I used mustard seeds and recipes I found online ... Both are awesome and have requests for more ...and defiantly will be in gift baskets again this year

I think it is mustard seed, ground up, with vinegar and salt (maybe a bunch of more items like turmeric or other spices and herbs), but anything with vinegar and salt lasts pretty long, in the refrigerator. I've never canned it. If that is what you are asking.

Whatever recipe you use, if you want to preserve it well (and get some good probiotics), lacto-ferment it by adding some whey (from raw milk yogurt or cheese).
Also as Feather said, vinegar and salt are also good for preserving.
