We're building on to our Cabin. Putting it on Piers. Couldn't drop it down like we wanted. One corner is almost on the ground.
Today we was trying to figure where we was going to put a Door. Went to the Highest place, still was two inches short. So we decided not to put a Door in on that side. Have to come in, go through Dining area in order to get into Front Room.

Too late it is almost all up, not taking things down for a Door.

I been trying to understand this. But I don't and since I'm not a carpenter, or even good at whittling a stick, I'm just not going to ask.
(I added later, after reading the other thread on this subject, I think I understand more)

make a hatch on the roof, then use a ladder to get up there, makes for good security as you can remove the ladder after you climb it, hard for others to get in then
