We have three dogs, Mister the doberman (safely guarding the recliner at the moment), Cherry the Great Pyr (young but is showing great potential) and Crystal the bichon/maltese mix (my baby). We also have two outdoor cats, Kitty and Yellow Kitty. I can't consider Crazy Lady (older hen) a pet but she hangs out with me all day.

I currently have 3 cats (17, 6 & 6) and a 10month old Pitt bull female pup. The pup is a sweetheart but a handful. Keeps the house interesting!

We have 2 dogs Pixie a lab/heeler mix (my girl) and Tripp,a medium size, thin, flat haired German-Shepherd-looking mix(DHs boy) 3 cats,Mythos(17 and with me before DH),Tayzer(10) and Luna(5). All of the above sleep in the house with us but dogs are restricted to Their beds(too big). They do day-nap with us though when that happens The 3 hens are for eggs only and were raised inside but once in the coop aren't Really "pets" they get names, but no "quality time" except berry treats I make for them once in awhile:they are Dottie,Honey and SO'Hara(as in Scarlett O'Hara/gone with the wind). 5 goldfish (no names) that were Supposed to be my aquaponics experiment 2 years ago(rolling eyes) and may yet be, since they are getting too big for the inside tank.I'm going to rig up an in-greenhouse rubbermaid "pool" for them and try winter greens, tomato and cucumber.I Hope this year... We Do enjoy watching them in the house though, and I'm sure we'll miss their soothing activity...maybe I'll rotate with only two in the house at once.....

We have Reagan who is a German Shepherd/Hound. You can see a pic of her on a thread here titled "Having a bit of fun with Reagan". Two indoor cats (Junior and Earlina), 5 outdoor cats-Tabby Cat, Blackie, One-eye Blackie, Rameses, Clyde, 3 outdoor kittens-Little Buddy, Baby Blackie, and one we haven't named yet. Four different sized coops with roughly 70 chickens total. (I do consider my chickens as "pets" ) 'Course one of my fav's is "Girl" (she's my Avatar), and I'd have to mention "Sweetie" who is an EE... I have way too many chickens with names! You can see some of them in the picture thread on the Chickens Board... ~Mari

We have Linus the pug mix. He is the first dog I ever owned, we rescued him from the shelter. He is a neurotic little thing. He watches tv and barks at any animals he sees and he barks when people dance. He HATES kids but leaves any other animal alone. Next is Frankie the Chihuahua, also rescued. He is really quite adorable. He barks constantly and hates our black cats. He hates other dogs and hates most other people and kids but he likes my sister's children.
Next is Boots. He is my 11 year old cat. I've had him since I was 13. He has diabetes so gets insulin daily. He is a grumpy old man who HATES the dogs. I'm the only person he really likes. He lives on the fridge pretty much. Kobi is our 4 year old cat. He is huge! He isn't fat at all but just a big and long cat. He is the sweetest cat I've ever met, he loves everyone and he isn't afraid of everything. He loves Boots. Finn is our kitten, well he is 13 months old but he is the baby cat. He is the smallest cat in the house and a giant wuss. He is best friends with Frankie and they play together constantly. Frankie protects his Finn from the other animals. The other animals don't like Finn.
We also have 2 hamsters. Gingersnaps the dwarf hamster who is kind of evil and mean and Bonsly the Syrian hamster who is very sweet and litter trained like a cat.

Just a cat, dog, horse and a flock of chickens here.
Annie Laurie, my tortie cat is my buddy - she would spend 24 hrs a day glued to me if I'd let her. She's getting up there in years - I think she's about 14 now? I suppose I should look it up and see how old she really is getting.
Russell, the Muttley Wonder, is my avatar - he's a Great Pyr Golden Retriever cross, we think. Mom was a Great Pry, but she was also a hussy, so his paternal parentage is an educated guess. We don't call him Muttley Wonder for his brains, lol. He barks too much at night, but other than that is a good boy.
Winnie is the horse, a grey (nearly white) Arabian who can give Abby an energetic ride or lumber around the pasture with the grandkids on her back.
Then there is Brewster the Rooster and his ladies, too many of his sons and a chick running around with momma. I love the eggs and the entertainment factor.
That is all!

Have a 3-legged cat that we adopted from the shelter. Had been in surgery to have his hip and leg removed a couple weeks before we went to the shelter and he had just been released for adoption that day. He was in a cage out of the way all by himself and wasn't being seen by anyone else there looking for cats. My daughter just happened to go over and peek in his cage and told us to come see. Good for us and him, he's a good kitty. Since the missing leg is a back one, he thumps when he walks. Easy to hear him coming.

Zuki. Thumper would have been a fitting name except when he runs, he lopes and is fast and doesn't thump. I worry about overfeeding him as if he gets too fat it just puts more weight on that single back leg. He can jump up to the couch or bed, but jumping to the counter or tabletop is too much for him (which is ok by me ). He has problems holding himself in position to go potty also (which means he has a messy rear end a lot). Still a good kitty and worth the trouble though. We saw another 3-legged kitty (missing a front leg) for adoption not long ago and almost got Zuki a playmate but decided 1 cat is enough for now.

I think it is so cool you guys took him in... My husband and I both have big hearts when it comes to animals-especially in regards to the ones that have a bit of a handicap... ~Mari

We added 6 ducklings last week, and 2 of our hens brought out new chicks (11 for one and 6 for the other). The extra roos are headed to freezer camp on Saturday. I'm going to enjoy the peace and quiet with only Brewster Rooster crowing.
