Sons pass on their mother's udder too. If there's anything else you want to correct on your herd, you could get a doeling to correct that and the Mmm breed her to a son of your good milker, too.

I look to the buck to improve udders, too.
My gals milk off their spines, and look like the dickens when they're in milk. I do my best to make sure they have as much good feed and mineral as I can get.

Keep a son, and breed him to everything in your herd. Including a daughter if she gives you one. And then, if they have a son, I call dibs
