My so-comfy fleece vests have a lot of my white hair and fur from my two grey & white cats. I just washed and dried the vests at the laundrymat. Separated by color, Still a lot of hair on them. I've used masking tape and those rollers before. Takes long, is tiring, and there's still hair! I don't typically use fabric softeners in the wash water, or dryer sheets. Would either help? Any other ideas? Next fall I'm setting a couple vests to be for in the house, and a couple for wearing when I go out, so at least I don't look scruffy then. Thanks.

We have three fleece throws in the living room that the cats sleep on! When I wash them, I use liquid fabric softener plus a half of a dryer sheet. I use the unscented stuff. It works prety good.

Dog hair is just as bad! I gave up and gave all my fleece things to the thrift store - don't even wear much black anymore...And yes, I brush & brush & brush them.

I just can't bring myself to go without fleece vests or zip shirts. In recent years I've become quite sensitive to all but very fine wool, so fleece is my choice for staying warm. I had a thought to try one of those gloves for sale at pet stores for pulling pet hair off furniture. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Only one room has carpet - the rest, wood floors. Next truck will have leather also. Really tired of spending my time vacuuming dog hair.

I unfortunately have cats (2 indoor) and dogs (4 indoor). I am living in pet hair, no way to get away from it, it even sticks to my jeans! I much prefer fabric couches over leather, but my next furniture will definitely be leather. Eventually the carpets will all be replaced with vinyl flooring.

I have had good luck with the Pledge Fabric Sweeper. Not sure if they still make them or not, I bought mine a number of years ago. Use it on pet bedding/blankets etc. before I put them in the washer. Found this link but I did *not* pay that much for mine: pledge fabric sweeper
