I've been making spaghetti sauce with our tomatoes and did a post on my blog to teach others how I do it. You probably have your own recipe and method but if not, check it out:

Your sauce came out much thicker than what I made last year. I can't wait for the tomato harvest to come rolling in so I can try again.
Nice blog! Sweet looking Guernsey cows. I have Jersey and Brown Swiss. Thanks for sharing!

It is now too hot for tomatoes here so this is the end of the harvest. I tried two varieties from irag (Baker Creek Seed) this year and they were doing great until the texas floods came and they all wilted. It really set them back so they were small but I am going to try them again next year because they are still blooming which is unheard of in our near 100 degree temps.

Miss Kay that looks wonderful. I plan on making my sauce with more vegetables this year so it will mean I finally have to use that pressure canner. LOL
By the way, that countertop is beautiful and I'm officially pea-green with envy.
