You must click on the link. Ahhhh, I can feel the peace already... Speaking of which, In my She Shed I will drink my new SANGRIA recipe all day long. And eat bonbons. And read magazines. And play Iphone Spider Solitaire all the time. And read Clive Cussler books. Fabulous Sangria recipe: 3/4 C Wollersheim Carignan (or any really dry red) 3 oz Limoncello (I make my own but store bought is fine) 2-3 oz pure Cranberry juice(not a "cocktail juice" like Ocean Spray but a real unsweetened Cranberry0 2 oz or more of Club soda Add Ice and pure bliss! Not too sweet, not too dry. SHE SHEDS. lightersideofrealestate.com/real-estate-life/cool-stuff/introducing-she-shedsThis fits into this category because we all of us need a break from the weeding, canning, planting, cooking and on....

What a neat idea! Hmmm...dh is always talking about wanting a new, larger shed. Maybe he should just put up a pole barn for all his stuff, and turn the existing cedar sided shed over to me. It's kind of cute already (or could be) and I could turn it into my very own SHE SHED. Win/win, right? Love your sangria recipe. I'm out of carignan but do have other Wollersheim dry reds. Oh, what fun is that? I'd rather road trip to Wollersheim. We like to support local (or sort of local) businesses whenever possible, so Wollersheim wines are our "house wines". I love limoncello but I've never made my own. Do you have a recipe for it that you could share?

I love limoncello but I've never made my own. Do you have a recipe for it that you could share? If you are going to Wollersheim you will be passing very near me --- let me know and we could meet and drink! Yes re the Limoncello recipe but I stole most of it from Giada DiLaurentis. However, she and all the online recipes simply use TOO MUCH SUGAR. So you can increase your sugar in your simple syrup if you want to. Here is her recipe with a video -I noticed since I last looked she made it less sugary! It used to be 1:1 water and sugar. LIMONCELLOwww.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/limoncello-recipe.htmlNow here is my simpler recipe (no peeling needed!) **On the 10th day after you make the base, YOU WILL NEED A LARGER BOTTLE THAN THE VODKA BOTTLE YOU ARE USING HERE - THIS FILLS A "HANDLE" LIQUOR BOTTLE NICELY BUT I JUST USE 2 WOLLERSHEIM SCREW CAP FUME BLANC BOTTLES AS IT IS EASIER THAN THE BIG ONE IN MY FRIDGE FOR MONTHS. **For the base: You will also need a large glass container (with a mouth wide enough to get the halved lemons in - I use my glass 8 cup measuring container).
BASE:10 lemons - cut in half and juice (save juice for other uses) no need to pick the "pith" out 750 ml vodka - make sure it is not a liter as more is not better here
1. Cut and juice lemons. Put into large glass container that you will not need for 10 days. (see above)
2. Pour vodka over lemons (isn't this easy so far!) and cover it. She said let it sit 2 weeks originally; now she says 4 days. I do 10 days and I set it in my closet. Not completely dark but pretty dark. Leave it alone. So that's it for now.
After 10 days you will need 3.5 C water 1.75-2 C sugar (as much as you like)
3. On the 10th day, Make simple syrup by combining sugar and water and heating till sugar melts. I do this in the microwave but BE CAREFUL as when you stir it, it can foam hot and fast. There is NO need to boil; only cook till you can completely mix in the sugar. COOL COMPLETELY.
4. Strain the vodka into the cooled simple syrup. I use cheesecloth in addition to a strainer as you don't want pith in the final product.
5. STIR VODKA AND SIMPLE SYRUP AND CHILL. POUR into your container(s) of choice.
THAT'S IT! I HAVE A BOTTLE IN MY FRIDGE AT ALL TIMES.

Thanks so much for the recipe! Your version does look easier! We get to Wollersheim (or that area, anyway) several times a year. We got married in Baraboo, in fact. I know we'll be going to that area in early fall, so I'll be sure and let you know when!
