Did you check out the needlework shop in Sevierville? I forget the name of it, but I LOVE that place!

I can't wait to try the toothbrush rugs, but I may wait until it cools off some before I get started on them. You can find instructions online, but I don't like having to constantly look at the screen to see what I need to do next.
There's another shop in Sevierville?! It took 2-3 years to get him to stop at this one so you can imagine what would happen if I asked him to stop at another one. lol

My grandmother always was making toothbrush rugs -- using a toothbrush handle with the brush cutoff and the end smoothed over. She taught my sister how to do them and my sister taught me. My hands aren't up to doing them except for very short periods of time. I think the one I have going I started 10 years ago!
I think my grandmother may have been a bit extreme on the rug making -- she took the ribbons from the flowers at grandpa's funeral and made them into a small rug that she kept in front of the TV.
Nice haul. It should keep you busy for awhile!

I've gotten a couple of things finished. I've had the ladybug scissor case done for awhile I just forgot to post the picture. I finally finished the cross stitch this morning, I ran out of the green and then I decided that the original bear looked like a rottweiler puppy so I had to try and redo it. The black bear is really a polar bear, but I'm hoping most people won't be able to tell. lol

No project that actually gets finished is money spent badly. That is mostly true. Your's are cute.
