Rotate them around in position to get the light.
I use different kinds of potting soil to start my seeds. I used to buy seedstarter but quit after I had to transplant them so many times. I'd rather get potting soil without the fertilizer. I think the babies need to grow a bit before they are hit with fertilizer.

If you were waiting for advice from me, I don't pot up. They remain in the 4-packs or 6-packs from start to the garden. That's because I use a starting mix similar to Jiffy Mix Plus and has enough nutrients to handle them from seed to garden.
However, regular "potting soil" can be just about anything from poor to excellent depending upon price. I've had my pickup box full and then some with broken bags from Jung's. There are some which I wouldn't pay $1 for a whole load and others that are just too good to use in a community garden. That good stuff is usually one of the Miracle Grow types. That comes home and ends up in my container mixes.
With that, take your pick. Start with good stuff and leave them or give them something good when you pot up.
