Love those blue coppers and golden cuckos! Do the blues breed true or are they like most other blue chickens?

Blue Coopers are not a self blue/Lavender. So you will get, blue, black and splash. Not sure anyone has bred Lavender line of Marans.

Lavenders seem to be sports... they seem to happen or they don't. Not all breeds will be able to have lavenders.
Totally love my lavender ameraucana bantams... they have wonderful personalities.

Callie, there are too many nice chicken breeds and not enough space! LOL By the end of this month, if all goes right I will have 35 bantam chicks... (along with all the chickens, both full sized and bantam, I already have) These folks have Black, Blue and Splash Marans,, prices are a lot better. I have two of their Blue Copper Marans Pullets and more on order. www.chickenscratchpoultry.com/french_blue_copper_marans
