So, this is our first year with a buck and our girls will be FF (all Nubians). The buck was with the girls in August, but from the chalk markings we noted one bred Sept 13 and the other Sept 16. Blood tests confirmed pregnancy. So, due dates are Feb 10, 13 respectively.
That being said, we are now 60+ days into the 150 and the girls are pretty round and occasionally I see movement on the right side of one girl's belly. It seems to me at 60+ days the kids should only be about 4" long - not nearly big enough to be seeing evidence of movement. Am I overthinking this is or should I be reconsidering how far along they are in the pregnancies and plan for kidding earlier than Feb?
What do you all think?

Are you sure it's not the rumen that is moving? The rumen is on the left mostly.

I have one doe that is not due until January 16th & she is huge already. Like humans, they all carry different.

here to stay, Wendy, shellymay,@redfish, Thanks to all. I think I'll relax a little. The movements appear to be on the right side but udders are not bagging up. I'm taking pics of them every week now so I'll have something to look back at along with my notes. If they come earlier than Feb - it's not a problem, so we'll let nature run it's course and see how things end up.

My own personal evaluation of imminent birth is not bag dependent as each does has her own pattern on this- some a ginormous early and other don't really bag until the birth. The first long distance thing I check is the straightening of the bend at the hock of the back leg. As the ligaments loosen, the leg get straighter. When I see the leg is pretty straight, I start checking the ligaments on the side of the tail. That is the frustrating time as I have had them get soft and tighten again. But when they disappear then I keep an eagle eye on them. And however much I always questioned are these ligaments gone yet, when they really go it's obvious.

I always keep in mind that not all Doe's are the same, I have been pretty lucky that mine seem to follow a code. First the teets start showing growth (usually this happens a month or two before), then you can feel the udder starting to swell but it isn't very visual you have to feel it(yes my girls give me a look when I do this), when the udder it visual then I know I have about 3 weeks, towards the end of 3 weeks is when I watch for belly drop, swollen vulvas and ligs, once ligs are gone then its 1 to 2 days till kidding. Now here is one thing to watch for the year I was keeping track of breeding I put Pawnee in her kidding pen a week before her due date, she kidded right on schedule (such a good girl) had another doe not due for 3 more days, she kidded the same day 12 hours later(around midnight) so I had a surprise running around the Doe pen the next morning. My kidding pen is in the Doe house keeps the girls from being stressed if I don't have to remove them from friends BUT this led me to believe the smell of kidding can kick start the other due Doe's into kidding early...anyone else experience this?
