There's a worn spot on drivers side seat. Still can be fixed. Think I can use fishing line? Is there such a thing as very fine fishing line? Obviously I don't fish. If not, what else can I use?

Yes, there is very fine fishing line, but if all you want to do is fix a spot on the seat, you can actually buy monofilament sewing thread. Don't know which would be cheaper, but the sewing thread is actually made for the job you want to do.

Or...
You can just find some upholstery thread. It is quite strong and still quite small in diameter.
I usually find it in Walmart when I need to get some more.

It is in the sewing / fabric department. Just ask one of the employees where they hide it.

TRellis That's prob; no sewing dept here. I'll try calling Joann's. JoAnn's does have it. Probably cost more than WM; beats a dif seat.

Used the upholstery thread. Didn't do a very good sewing job. Shouldn't wear anymore, though.
