We have our rabbits in a enclosed barn for the winter. Is it ok to breed for winter kits? We are in the Midwest. I'd like to breed around Christmas.

They'll be fine. I always bred my Nzw's right threw the winter. Only time i'd have a problem was if a new doe didnt have her litter in the nest box.

Thank you for your response! I have 2 experienced does & 2 young does.I will just have to keep a very close eye on them. We have Nz, harlequin, & NZ/ Flemish cross does.
