I think it looks perfect right where it is, on that beautiful wall.

You are obviously using the "western count" as that would have been called a six-point in the east.

You are obviously using the "western count" as that would have been called a six-point in the east. Yeah, you guys just like to try and make things sound bigger and better than they are. If I found a '6' point out here, I'd be famous. I've always found it interesting, though, the different ways the points are counted. Why is that and where is the dividing line? Your way is more accurate, it does have 6 points and, although very rare, I have seen a few that had more on one side than the other which makes our way of counting a bit problematic.
I usually just use the vernacular of wherever I happen to be when having harvested something. It keeps the locals happy...
But there was one time when I was hunting in the east, harvested a buck and told the others over the radio that I shot six point. Only after dragging it back to camp did they see that I was using the western count vernacular.

I think it looks perfect right where it is, on that beautiful wall. Hehe! Thanks, but that's my kitchen table. We're sort of constructing at the moment so that's the only decent spot to take pics of things. Lol, well, it's a pretty TABLE then. I guess that would kind of get in the way of dinner if you leave it there.

Nice work, I love the way you used the antlers. I'd pic a spot and hang it up, that is if your not under that much construction.

That is really lovely! I make dreamcatchers, haven't done one in a few years though, nothing has "called" to me. The last one I made, I had found a bunch of feathers, where an owl had killed a young raven. I gathered them up and did one all in black for a friend.

The pheasant one sounds lovely! Color schemes are nice, so are themes. I made one once with things I gathered from the shore. It didn't last, but it was really nice.
Now I'm kicking myself, my roosters are just done molting and I didn't collect any feathers. They are a blue wheaton and a lemonblue/splash, so very nice feathers. Next time I'll have to grab them up for dreamcatchers!

This was a "fell", when a caribou loses an antler, I found that I brought back from Alaska. I used a dremel tool to drill, copper wire, catgut like string, beads, small feathers. It hangs near our garage door in the family room.

Oh I made it more than 10 years ago. I must have missed your post along the way. Only I had little feathers. You and I have much in common, no? Yours is gorgeous too! I have another 'fell', and I haven't gotten around to make it into a dream catcher. One more thing that I haven't gotten to. I'm going to have to look around for a dremel kit again.

Both are lovely. Maybe it could hang in a bedroom to 'catch your dreams?'
