That is really cute...might have to copy it. I am forcing myself NOT to start anything new. I have 2 at the quilters and 6 more to quilt...not sure if I'll do some or have my favorite quilter do them. I have plans for 3 more but might wait for next winter.

I found another new BOM for 2016 that started in February called "In Our Garden". Each month a different website will release one pieced and one applique block pattern. The patterns are posted on Craftsy. As of today, you can still get the February blocks free. I don't know if that will change or if it will stay free but if you're interested, you'll probably want to grab those patterns while you can.

Another one is called Beguiling Mystery Quilt along. So far only the cutting instructions and fabric requirements have been released. The final size will be 80" x 80" and that's all I can tell about this one so far.

dw, I know what you mean about not starting anything new. I'm just saving the patterns from most of the BOMs that interest me. Maybe closer to summer I'll be able to start making one or two of them if I'm still interested.
My pleasure, kiwifarmgal! I love digging around looking for new patterns and ideas. It just seems a shame not to share them with those who don't have time to do the cybersurfing that I get to do now that I'm retired.

calicokatie1, well I'm definitely going to check out the latest links. And if I didn't spend so much time enjoying the posts on HSF I'd, too, have time to dig around for patterns! You can never have too many ideas saved up, can you?

I'm not sure whether to thank you or curse you, calicokatie1!!! I just love the links you find and post, but looking at them stresses me out big-time because I want to add them to my 'want to make' wish list - and I know I'll never have time to do them all. But don't let that stop you teasing me...

Yeah, my wanna make list is pretty lengthy, too. I just keep adding to it when I run across something I love because, who knows, I might actually get most of them made. Since I have to get started on the Christmas quilts for my kids, when I saw this Red Brolly sewalong I thought I'd better put it at the top of my list. So far this summer I've been jumping around from project to project, a few blocks here and there. I have to get really focused now to meet my November deadlines.

For those who love applique, this rosemaling series has been rocking right along. You can still get all of the patterns previously released. www.quiltviews.com/rosemaling-in-baltimore-free-aqs-bom-2016-1Jacquelynne Stevens has a new summer BOM series. Sign up for her newsletter to get the patterns. She always has a few goodies tucked in like some sweet embroidery patterns. jacquelynnesteves.com/I've seen a couple of Little House themed quilts that really appeal to me. One is a pay per month but the other was a sew along from a couple of years ago. The patterns are all still available but you may have to do a little digging to find them. When I look at the picture, it makes me think about the blocks I'd make for a Little House quilt. duringquiettime.com/category/little-house-on-the-prairie-sew-alongI've finished all the hand pieced Bowtie blocks I need. I'm going to alternate them with plain squares but it will be a few months before I get back to it. I'm collecting my Christmas patterns and will be going full steam ahead on that project.
