I love looking at soap that other folks have made so please share yours! This is what I've named Pepper Zest. A combination of 5-fold Orange, Lemongrass, Lime & Black Pepper essential oils. Colored using ultra marines & oxides. I'm using half of my 30-bar Kelsei mold (tape off the center divider), using 3 lb oil recipe ... will give 15 slightly over 4 oz bars. It has just started gelling; Who's next??

Hopefully I can get the pics to come through this time. These are some of mine. I love the results of the flowers but man they are a pain to do! Gotta work real fast!

Yes we did, our were Belgian too! We let them go before the move but plan on getting some again once we get settled. Our boys were old and ready for a lighter work load anyhow.

Ha! Just found my way over here! Nice to find you here! Cyndi - that looks scrumptious. I first came across black pepper soap almost 10 years ago when I was at the big quilt show down in Kentucky - found it in some little shop down there and loved it. It think combining it with those other things sounds wonderful! Looks very pretty, too! GSG - Those are beautiful! I've not seen that flower swirl before - how'd you do that?? Very nice. Here's some I just cut and put on the rack last night. Orange and Clove with "base note" of Rosemary...smells fantastic if I do say so myself! lol. The crazy color one I thought was going to be a disaster - the FO was turning it into Jello before I could get the first color in the mold. I ended up just pressing it all in the mold (it was literally like chunks of Jello) and wrapped it - checked on it a bit later and it was gelling like crazy - in the end it was fine.

Orange & Clove, sure. I would never think about combining it with rosemary! I'm going to have to dig around to see if I have clove and try out that combo. What ratio of each did you use (if you don't mind telling)
I love the way your 'jello chunk' soap turned out.

You can always get your creative mojo going by letting it get to a thick trace in the mold and playing with a textured top ... just for hoots & hollers

What ratio of each did you use (if you don't mind telling) I love the way your 'jello chunk' soap turned out. That's the second time I've used rosemary and I love how it fills out the scent. The orange/clove comes as is from Nature's Garden and smells pretty balanced, not too strong on the clove. I used about 1:3 ratio (rosemary/orange clove) - just enough to know it's there. I'm using the rosemary also from Nature's Garden and it's pretty strong. Maybe they all are. I think it gives the soap a "grounded" scent, if that makes sense, but don't think I'd like it a whole lot alone. When I used it with teakwood/cardamom (about 50/50), that was definitely a masculine scent (but VERY nice, all my guys loved it). With this one I'd say it's unisex, but again the couple of guys around here (haha, adult son and husband) really like it a lot, but I'd use it too. And Cyndi, I'd tell anything I come up with to you - I told you before you were a big part of my impetus for wanting to do this!! I feel kinda honored you would ask me!

Oh @dandish, you're making me blush. I'm no one special. There are a lot more talented soaping folks out there than me (did you see @gunsmithgirl soap? Gorgeous! ) But thank you. (psssst .... you inspired my first ever selfie ... looking over my glasses ... )

I made some spiced honey soap that just smells wondering but I haven't tried it as it isn't cured yet... I really really like soap with dried, shredded coconut because it works great on those dirt tans! Scrub-a-dub!

I love all of your soaps. I don't make soap myself, but have only used homemade soap for years. I still have a large stash that I have bought up. Homemade soap makes my skin feel so much better. In the summer, I even have some bars that a friend made for washing my hair. It makes my hair feel so free. LOL I don't have to only use it in the summer, but usually do. You all are doing a great job. I am so glad I joined this site.

I've made hearts using this same technique ... just make a circle of colored soap, then pull the skewer from one side through the middle and out the other side of the circle.

Really beautiful soaps... I make mine really plain, too. I give some away but I don't sell much anymore.

Here are some of mine. This one is scented with Dragon's Blood FO. I was trying for a feather swirl. I still need to work on that one. This one is Blackberry scented. And this one is scented with Brambleberry's Almond Biscotti FO.

Beautiful @stilllearning!! Your dragon's blood didn't darken up?? Who is your supplier? And thank you! I had read that Dragon's Blood would discolor, so I added titanium dioxide to try to keep it as light as possible. It worked out this time, I guess.

I will have to try Brambleberry's dragons blood. I gave a whole batch of soap to my son, because I didn't like how it looked.

Are those real flowers in the M&P?? They are sooo pretty! Thank you. No, they are silk flowers. I have several things I'm thinking of that would make pretty cool embeds in that clear glycerin, though.

I had a play-around with M&P today. Honey glycerin and Shea butter M&P with a little diamond dust mica in the honey glycerin. Learned a bit. I prefer working with CP by a long shot, but this was fun as well. I've been wanting to try M&P - have you seen the soaps that are goldfish in a bag? Cutest soap ever.
