If you try that @fffarmergirl, fill the bag only half, let the M&P start to set up & put in the goldfish. Spray the top with alcohol and pour in the rest of the M&P. You might have to hold the fish in place with a toothpick. My only time working with M&P was to make 'gemstones' ... they turned out something like this

I haven't done any M&P. Does it dry out your skin? It does make for some beautiful soap....

Oh @dandish, you're making me blush. I'm no one special. There are a lot more talented soaping folks out there than me (did you see @gunsmithgirl soap? Gorgeous! ) But thank you. (psssst .... you inspired my first ever selfie ... looking over my glasses ... ) I think your shear awesome sauce Muller's Lane Farm. I have used your lotion for many years now and I love it. I'd like to try your soap if you have spare bar. I'll send you a PM too.I love homemade soap and consider myself quite the aficionado. I would rather support a homemade business rather than a big business, the quality is way better too. All these soaps look lovely and I think I can smell them from here.

I don't make soap (yet! It's on the bucket list, lol) but I do buy home made. I am a shepherd and although I raise hair sheep, there is still plenty of lanolin on them. I LOVE the soaps that have ground coffee in them or corn meal. Makes a nice scrubby bar that cleans up dirty hands very well. The coffee grounds one says that it helps take stink off of the hands as well. I don't know about that but I just love it.
The soaps you all are making are so beautiful!!

I haven't done any M&P. Does it dry out your skin? It does make for some beautiful soap.... Reading this thread for the first time... I have done M&P for years...Never had the guts to try CP! I have always stuck with a good quality M&P with goats milk... DH loves it! Everything else (including my expensive shampoos) was drying out his skin something terrible. He loves the M&P for washing his hair... Unfortunately my supplier discontinued it and I got the last 25 lbs they had. My advice-if you're going to buy some-find out what all is in it. Some suppliers - in my opinion - are selling M&P soap that I would avoid like the plague! Just my two cents... ~Mari
