We've had enough rain that they could! Still got it coming at us after logging 4+ inches in the last 24 hours. Now a 2 day cooldown and temps are to go into the 70s with night time temps in the 60s and rain, rain, rain! I'm thinking in about a week it'll be time to chase morels around here! Never know, with this much rain,it could be another bumper crop! Can't wait!

Not much better than fresh fish that came out of cold spring water, fresh morels, and fresh asparagus! 'Bout a perfect meal! All fried! has all the truly essential food groups!

We're pretty dry and could use some rain - just not 4 inches in 24 hours, please. Sorry you're getting so much water all at once. We had that in September - actually, the 4 inches came in a lot less than 24 hours. Followed by another couple inches the next day. Never saw the lake that high - it stayed just below the bottom of the pier surface for over a month. Honestly it's feast or famine (drought or flood?) with rain here. Same with snow though.

It's been so long since I've seen a 4" rain, years in fact. Last month we had maybe 1/2 inch total and this is a trend started a couple of years ago. If we had a 4+" inch rain today it still wouldn't fill the ponds in our pastures. It's really that dry.
