Cleaned linen closet. For some reason, decided to wash all sheets. Have the darnedest time folding fitted sheets. Thought the way was to fold corner into corner and do again. Frustrating. How do you fold your fitted sheets? Good thing I did clean closet. Several things I have no use for.

unfortunately with elastic around the entire sheet that way is very hard to get a nice clean fold....

Forgot part about turning inside out. Seems they'd be hard to store if shoving into pillow case.

Folding fitted sheets is on my bucket list (near the bottom but on the list none the less). For now, the goal is to get them folded to where they are somewhat "flat" and fit on the shelf. I consider that a win. And yes, the higher thread count sheets I bought have elastic all around and are generously cut.

I do it in a way similar to how the link showed it. Once the corners are all together and I lay it flat, I just fold the elastic part toward the middle to the point where the sheet will make a rectangle, fold it in half and then fold the lengthwise part into thirds. It works for me, even on the sheets with lots of elastic.
