My dogs love these, they are easy to make, and you know exactly what is in them!
2 cups of flour 1 Tablespoon baking powder --- yes 1 Tablespoon 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup milk
Mix flour and baking powder (I use my kitchen aid), add peanut butter and milk, mix well. Divide in two equal parts and put on cookie sheets. Roll out until about 1/4 inch thick. Cut in bite sized pieces with a pizza cutter but do not separate. Bake at375*about 15minutes or until done, lightly browned and feel dry. Remove from cookie sheets. They will break apart as you take them off the sheets. Let cool.

Yea, that would be better in my pocket than raw hamburger.

I used to use dried liver, dry in a low oven for a few hours, dogs love it, and it's cheap, BUT it does stink out the kitchen when you make it.

I used to add dehydrated shredded carrots to mine for extra fiber & vitamins. A dab of garlic too.

I might try this! I like giving a treat at times, though it is not often here, but I hate commercial treats. Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks so much for the recipe. My Karakachan loves peanut butter; and my lab will eat most anything. Gonna prepare some of those soon as I get some regular white flour. How long will they keep?

I'm not sure, but I would think quite awhile in the fridge. If you asked the dogs, about 15minutes!
