Never thought of this. Take wreath hanger, one of those metal ones. Got mine at Crafts 2000 for $1. Long ago, though. Put over bath cabinet door. One of those plastic baskets with holes will fit on hanger.

We hang over the door shoe organizers on doors where we need space for storage- in the front closet, it holds scarves, gloves and hats. In the computer room it holds all the extra electrical cords and extension cords and little weird odds and ends like that. In my daughter's room, well, that one used to actually hold her shoes, go figure! lol But we recently added shelves to her closet, so that one left and went to our bathroom, where it holds extra soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, etc... it even has the vacuum heads that don't caddy onto the vacuum, since that is the closet with the vacuum as well. I think they were nearly all bought at yard sales over the years. But for their abilities, buying new isn't a bad deal either.

These are all good ideas for organization. We have put a shelf around the small bathroom about 1 1/2ft from the ceiling and put pretty boxes and baskets with tops (to keep dust out) to store extra bathroom supplies.
I saw a great organizing video on youtube and now use those plastic square box like baskets to store things in my medicine cabinet. One for pain killers like aspirin, one for cold/flu, one for stomach upset, etc.,etc. I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

I reorganized the closet in the bathroom this past week. It has been much easier to find what I need & know that unless something is a tremendous bargain, I'm pretty stocked up. I used plastic baskets to contain the smaller items and lined the bottles up along the perimeter - hopefully this will work better. I love the idea about putting shelving 18" from the ceiling around the bathroom... hmmmm, something to think about. My weakness is my fondness for free samples so I'm going to make a concerted effort to start using them (shampoo, conditioner etc) so my full sized bottles will last longer. I'm a total homebody so there's truly no need to save them for "travel" Thank goodness these items don't "expire".
