I buy my sugar in quantity when it's on sale. I think I have plenty to ride out any bumps in the market. It pays in more than one way to keep a deep pantry!

Yes- I'm so glad I stocked up on my baking ingredients a few months ago! Although, I'm taking a hit in the gas price. It sure was nice for a while when it was $1.64 gal.

We are a sugar beet growing region with two plants (owned by the farmers). This is good news.

If you're using so much sugar that a price hike is a problem, then you're probably eating too much of it and it is time to cut back.

We recently restocked when aldi had sugar for 1.49,4 lb bag, and 5lb flour for .99
