This is a recipe that I got from a friend, and I modify it from time to time.
2 ripe bananas (frozen bananas make it creamy) 2 cups plain yogurt 1/2 cup juice 1 cup frozen fruit
Toss the ingredients in the blender and puree to desired consistancy.
Sometimes I use:
2 frozen bananas 2 cups kefir (flavored) 1/2 cup vegetables (like spinach or kale) 2 cups frozen fruit
The kefir thins it out quite a bit so I use extra fruit, and omit the juice.
The nice thing about smoothies is that you can use whatever fruit or vegetables you choose. It just depends on your taste. You can add things like flax or chia seeds as well.
