Was told she's a 6 week old jersey heifer. Not sure if she's 6 weeks though, seems younger to me.

Nothing cuter than a Jersey calf ... as long as she didn't have a twin brother!

manygoatsnmore, I bought her through a craigslist add. The guy told me she was born on a farm he works for but also said she's 6 weeks old which ive had several other ppl say she was likely only two weeks old. So im not sure he was telling the truth. I may be getting a holstien bull calf to raise as a steer with her that someone offered to trade for 2 piglets.

Nothing cuter than a Jersey calf ... as long as she didn't have a twin brother! Does it matter if they were fraternal versus maternal twins or is it just because they share the same uterus that the heifer may be infertile?

It's sharing the same uterus...they have to be fraternal twins, otherwise, they would be the same sex. The male sex hormones circulating cause the heifer not to develop her lady cow parts correctly.
