I don't think I could handle being out there working if we actually had humidity. Although I wouldn't mind if the wind speed was a little more than 2.4 mph while I'm working. I just realized that I never sprung the time forward. I look at this thing everyday and never noticed.

It was 94 here yesterday, with heavy humidity. It felt as though I was walking through butter. Yuck. I'm so glad for you, though. It is miserable to have to work outside with both. We spent the hottest hours inside.

my summer humidity is typically 15%, so 48% seems kind of humid to me... 95F and 15% with a light wind is some of my favorite weather I have only been in 95F or higher and 90% humidity a few times in life, and it was horrible, don't know how people can deal with that kind of weather but I guess it is the weather and there is no way out of it

Even my sweat was sweating on Saturday. It was miserable!

Just got in from mowing: 93ˆ, 51% humidity, wind 11 mph, that's hard on an old fat boy.

I feel guilty saying this but with the exception of Saturday, which was 92, when all the weather people said it wouldn't even make it to 80, the last 4-5 days have been beautiful: lows in the 50's with highs in the 70's and dry. Only problem, and it's not a problem for me, I love it~ is the wicked wind we're having. 25-25 mph, which feels great while outside working and the laundry dries super fast, but I dropped the mail and had to chase it across the front yard!
I hope it stays like this for another 48 hours - tomorrow night is my son's HS graduation and it's going to be held outside, so please keep your fingers crossed!
But after graduation, we sure could use some rain!

Hot and dry here. Too dry. Was hoping for some rain last night. Nope, storms didn't even come close.
Same thing today. Our next chance of rain isn't until Thursday, so I'll be out watering again tonight.
Seems like we went from cool, breezy and beautiful, with green grass to hot, dry and UGH! Overnight.
Okay, I've had enough summer, thanks!

The humidity is so high right now because we had storms earlier. I don't think you want what I got - torrential rain, hail and high winds. And of course thunder and lightening.

@redfish, you know it's bad when the indoor humidity is at 48%. You should try canning in my part of the country! The 85% it was at today was mainly because the storms had passed through earlier, but I guess you get used to it. After about a week of high humidity I don't really pay any attention to it, but I did grow up here so it's nothing new. It's 9:30 pm right now and I just checked it - 70% outside. I thought maybe my fancy thermometer was messed up so I stepped outside. Nope, I believe it's right.
