I used to a long time ago, but somewhere along the line I stopped. I was in Hobby Lobby the other day looking through their clearance and came across a book for plastic canvas paper dolls and just had to get it. I don't have any daughters so I'm going to make them for my best friend's daughter after I get done making her Barbie a swimming pool. I've gone from not even thinking about plastic canvas to wanting to make everything out of plastic canvas. lol I'm supposed to be working on crochet projects for Christmas presents but it's gotten so hot that I hate working on them. Plastic canvas is perfect to work on in the evenings because the projects are so small. So, is there anyone else that does plastic canvas? I'd love to see your stuff.

I did, a little, a very long time ago. As in, before marriage and children, when I still was in high school!
My grandmother did plastic canvas for a long time. Probably 75% if my nonbreakable Christmas ornaments are plastic canvas that she made. I also have a small heart-shaped box she made me more than 30 years ago; I keep my bobby pins and hair elastics in it.

I'm glad I picked it back up for a summer craft. The Barbie pool is on hold because I'm redesigning it to hold water. So I made her daughter a picnic table and grill. I missed her birthday so those will be her gifts. I started on my son's farm, but it's gonna take awhile to get the base made. It's 6 full sheets of plastic canvas! Might not have thought that through. I'm trying to keep a small project in my purse for when I'm somewhere that I'm just sitting and waiting. So here's "Barbie" enjoying her picnic table on the deck and grilling in her high heels.

That is so cool. Never heard of this craft before, but I love what you did with it here!
