My stepsister let us pick all the cherries from her tree, in exchange for some turnovers. I have a recipe that looks good. We have a lot of cherries to turn into turnovers to share! It's too hot to bake. I was thinking of just making up the turnovers and freezing them in foil to be baked later. I'm wondering how long they should be baked for, at what temp, and how to make sure the crust turns out right. Maybe bake them for a certain amount of time enclosed in the foil and then open and bake a little longer? Thanks in advance - from the whole family.

I would put them on a cookie sheet and freeze until frozen. Then, put them all into zip locks.
