Have any of you tried the Breeze Multi Cat Litterbox? Someone on Facebook who has a lot of cats posted that she really liked hers, and last Thursday I drove to a nearby super Walmart hoping to buy one. They did not have the kits. These are kind of like Swiffers, they have refills you have to purchase. But, nothing is too good for my cats so....I ordered one on Amazon and it arrived today. Because of flea problems this year, I am going to worm everyone before I set it up. I'm not quite sure how it all works yet. Reviews on the Walmart website were pretty positive. I'll let you know how it goes. 4 cats here.

We are on worming, Day 1 today. I had some things to do this week so I waited. I suspect Wednesday will be the magic day for the Breeze.

Are you using the breeze yet? We switched a couple of months ago and we like it. So much easier to keep clean than the old scooping litter and no dust that settles on everything in the house. Okay, that may have been an exaggeration but I swear there was dust and tracked litter in every room of the house no matter what brand I used. With the breeze, cleaning is quick and easy and they don't track the pellets throughout the house. The only thing I wish they would change is the height of the sides because my cats kick the pellets out, but at least they stay near the box.

I had an electric cat litter box given to me....really liked it at first.....you set the timer for cleaning and it rakes the mess to the bottom to clean out easily.....but then it seems the mess got a little smelly when it got raked, no matter what litter I used......I still use it, but think it has some draw backs....

I looked at the Breeze online. Seems to me, that leaving the poop on the surface would only cause odor more quickly. Not sure how that would work for us. I like that the urine goes through to the pad below, that's easy enough to change out weekly, but I can't get past the poop on the surface! Hmm..

aoconnor, I haven't noticed any more odor than a regular clay litter box. My cats still bury it within the pellets. I'm guessing that's when they kick the pellets out. I also think it's easier to scoop once you get used to the change in litter.

At tractor supply they sell some stuff in the horse section called PDZ. Sprinkle a half cup or so in the pan when you pick out the litter it absorbs ammonia. Good stuff.
We have at any one time 7 or 8 cats in the house so.... its been well tested. lol

The Breeze Box sat in its box for almost a month. I opened it up two weeks ago. I really did not have high hopes for it. But, its great! First of all, I have arthritis, and bad legs and knees. I have a "trick" knee due to a fracture. I make the wrong move, and its like wanting to scream with every step I take. I can't tell you how many times I have tricked it lifting kitty litter jugs, pails and bags on the cement floors in the stores, and then I have to limp in agony out to my car. I do get it delivered thru Walmart.com sometimes. That helps, all I have to do then is drag it in it off my porch.
Then, I have to carry it out, of course, once its served its purpose. I buy contractor bags for this chore.
Not to get too graphic, BUT we are discussing a cat litter box....
I have four cats using the Breeze and I love it. They love it. There is a little pull out tray in the bottom part of the Breeze that holds a pad, similar to a puppy pad. The liquid goes thru the holes in the box and onto this pad, so the cats feet don't get wet. I suppose the pad has some kind of odor control substance, but it does not touch the cat, so I am not going to worry about it. I will probably change it every 3 days, but I went 4 and it was OK. It's like a wet baby diaper, I just folded it over and picked it up and disposed of it. I have handled baby diapers that were much worse! I hate plastic grocery bags, but they are easier for me to handle, so I ask for them. I can use my extensive collection.
Then up above there are pellets. Not a lot. How could this work? Well, you do have to scoop, and it comes with a scooper that hangs on the box. The first day only one cat used it, now they all are. Scooping is not bad, the pellets seem to be treated so they don't stick to the poops, and a couple shakes will drop the ones that do thru the scooper. I have not tried it yet, but I think I can flush these poops. This will make a huge difference to me, especially this winter when I won't have to drag bags of litter out to the curb. The pellets are supposed to be changed once a month. Once again, very easy. Another use for the grocery bags.
I had joked that the Breeze was like a Swiffer, once you get one, you have to keep buying stuff, BUT, I'm not sure this is going to cost much more than buying litter, and it is sure going to be a LOT easier on me! I can store a whole winter supply in the space one big bag of litter would take up, and best of all, NO LIFTING! I can see the advantages is one lived in an apartment or high rise. Four cats are using it and we're doing fine. I plan to buy two more, (Breezes, not cats )I have a kitty who lives alone in a room of her own, and another box for another spot in the house. I am going to try flushing, as long as I don't flush the pellets, I don't know why I can't. I do have a good septic. After all, its just poop.
If things change, I'll let you know!

@rockriver, I have two of the breeze boxes and the one box doesn't get peed in a lot and when they do it's towards the back, so after a couple of days I pull the tray completely out, flip it around and put it back in. If I didn't do this I would be wasting half a pad.
I don't think it costs any more than a regular clay litter box. And even if it did I wouldn't mind because it's so much easier to keep clean.

I just ordered a Breeze system for DD and her SO for Christmas. Not sure it will arrive in time, but that is OK. I just said it would be a unique gift this year.
They have a lot of spoiled rotten cats.
Seriously, I have some mobility problems, and this has been just wonderful this winter. No going out to buy litter, no dragging used litter out for the garbageman. No mess or smells. I was telling the manager at my grocery store about it, and he said they had one at home, and they really like it too.
