Agree. Beautiful. Would be great to see a picture of the whole quilt. You did such a lovely job of the LAQ. It was too big. I had no one to hold it up for me. She is sending me one once she gets it bound.

A quilt crafted in the finest tradition of the art form, created through labors of respect to the recipient and the highest regard to the craft. Suitable for framing is an understatement.

I love that! I couldn't tell how the words were put on. Were they embroidered? The quilt is beautiful and so is your quilting. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to quilt those daisy pinwheels.

Now that is a demonstration of real skill. Great job and thanks for showing it.
I want to know how you got those different colored designs onto one block. Did you overlay fabric and tuck the raw edges under? Seems that would be very difficult with those think lines. Care to share?

It is wool applique. A friend pieced and appliqued, I did the quilting.

Farmchix, That is just beautiful. That flower pattern is gorgeous. How long did it take you to learn how to use that long arm.
I am still trying to get the corners to line up, lol

I've been longarming for about 14 years, quilting even longer. Practice...practice...practice...just like anything else.
