If their mother really loved them, she would have carried them over the perilous waters.....

If their mother really loved them, she would have carried them over the perilous waters..... If they had the faith of a mustard seed, maybe they'd believe that their momma would part the sea and they'd hoove it across on dry land . . .

Ah, the joys of cattle ownership. I don't milk my girls, we have beef cattle, but they are silly non-the-less! The other evening, my donkeys decided to try their hooves at racing. They ran crazy wild all around the top pasture, where the cows were quietly trying to inhale as much hay from the round bales as possible before going back to the pond pasture for the night. With crazy wild donkeys having a bad case of the zoomies, my old cows decided they should try it, too. Off they went, bawling and bucking, running and leaping. Strange danged sight to see cows and donkeys running around a pasture with the zoomies. I was laughing too hard to even try getting my phone out for pictures, but wish I had filmed it for the proof!
