I bought this bag of flour in a cloth bag w/nice design. I want to use it for the top bib part of an apron. I washed it but paint not set...I rescued it and it looks good but I would like to set it before I make the apron. I'm thinking ironing it w/cover cloth? Looked online but not much in different ideas.

I can only guess...if it is acrylic, heat might set it. If it is a dye, heat might set it, or possibly an acid solution or a base solution--but I have no experience with that. I hope someone has some experience and can help you, it's a good question.

I always heat set paint, ink, etc with an iron. I always wait until it is totally dry before doing it tho. I don't use a cover over the item unless the fabric is not 100% cotton.

Just have to report...I used a dry iron & cloth (just to protect stuff) and it worked. I washed it and the paint is set. I'm going to work on the apron next and maybe make another one. I bought the bag with flour in it at the grocery store.
