I have a litter of californians due in about two weeks, this evening I bred my other cal doe. This evening we also bred my daughter's mini lop doe to her buck Yesterday my wife gave her two thrianta does some time with her buck. A week or so ago while trying to get a different mini lop doe to breed, which she still won't, I allowed my wifes mini lop cross to breed in the presence of the stubborn doe, hoping to put her in the mood. It didn't work. But in any case, within a month I have two litters of californians, two litters of thriantas, a litter of mutt lops, and a litter of mini lops due.
Guess I should build a couple more grow out cages.

We are on bunny watch too...red NZ mutts. Our other red NZ doe is due in 3 weeks. I haven't decided if she'll be the last of the season. Most likely...we're quickly approaching "ice bottle season" here.

She had 8 nice big healthy little ones. One is black, looks like it will be a grey later. Always has had white, some with black on face and ears. 4th litter for her, same buck....James

A purebred NZ litter was born Friday night. 7 nice, fat babies!
We were given 9 NZ adults in December as their barn was going to collapse during that next big snow storm. We've had a hard time getting babies from them this winter.
With this litter, we have finally verified that the 4 yr old buck is still fertile!

Daisy, one of my cal does kindled today. Not sure how many kits, but she made a fine nest. First time mother and that always makes me nervous.
Eta: started a new thread about this rabbit.
