For all those in the path of Harvey, and those who have family there, just sending prayers and hope from Down Under that all will be well with you and that you can keep safe. From news reports here, this looks to be shaping up as a truly nasty event, so my thoughts will be with you.

I feel for the people in the path. We took a direct hit from Hurricane Andrew in 92. It's something You don't wish on an enemy.

What's really remarkable is to hear laughter amidst all the devastation! Sometimes when things are so horrible, we look for the humor in it... so we can laugh a little and try to retain our sanity.

Keeping everyone in my prayers. The damage will take years to repair, but the loss of lives ... I have no words. God be with everyone impacted by Harvey.

"A half-million flooded cars and trucks could be scrapped"
I guess this is good news for new car dealers and manufacturers (and their employees) and bad news for scrap parts dealers.
Every curse has its blessing, every blessing has its curse.

"Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort. 10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job." President Trump commenting on the present situation in Puerto Rico.
